Veterinary Nurse

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will assist in the treatments and supportive care of collection animals, organise and maintain the surgery, post-mortem and treatment rooms, monitor drug use and help to maintain the inventories. Duties include preparing for surgeries, maintaining medical and diagnostic equipment (X-ray/ultrasound/endoscopes), collecting and processing tissue samples, organising digital images, photographs, slides, x-rays and animal health records.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma with further education in medical sciences, preferable with formal nursing qualification (AIRC Cert II or equivalent)
• 3-5 years of full time work experience as a Vet Nurse
• Fluency in verbal and written English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
• Good knowledge in computer operations (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese word-processing)
• Ability to develop rapport with staff and be a team player
• Holder of driving and diving license is an advantage
