WHY WE WILL LOVE YOU

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in social media, digital communications, or a related field
  • You have proven experience in executing social media and digital communication activities, including content publishing, campaign execution and performance monitoring
  • You have experience in project coordination and process execution, with the ability to manage multiple activities and timelines effectively
  • You have good knowledge of communication and creative concept creation and evaluation
  • You have up-to-date knowledge of the social media landscape, platform usage, and performance measurement
  • You have experience in budget tracking and reporting, including supporting forecasting, goal tracking, and return on investment (ROI) analysis
  • You have good knowledge of marketing, branding, and digital advertising fundamentals
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English
  • You are a compelling communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • You have strong coordination and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external agency partners
  • You have experience working in a customer-centric business environment, which is preferred
  • You have proven experience working with social media and digital communications
  • You have experience working in or with an advertising, social media, or digital communication agency, which would be an advantage

    • WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    • Execute daily social listening and community response process, monitoring consumer conversations relating to life at home and the IKEA brand, and escalating insights or risks
    • Create, publish and optimize online content, including posts, videos, live streams and engagement activities that meet customer needs, strengthen brand positioning and stimulate interest in home furnishing
    • Support the planning and positioning of creative communications across social media platforms, ensuring all content is aligned with IKEA Values, commercial priorities and brand guidelines
    • Coordinate with agency partners on day-to-day content production, scheduling and publishing, ensuring timely delivery and consistent quality across digital media platforms
    • Monitor and report on social media and digital campaign performance using relevant KPIs, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to improve effectiveness
    • Identify and act on opportunities within the IKEA Hong Kong & Macau market to enhance social media campaign performance, and share learnings and synergies with the wider team
    • Support social media crisis management by monitoring conversations, preparing response materials and coordinating with internal stakeholders as directed by Social Media Manager
    • Collaborate with members of the Marketing team to use digital media as an effective communication channel, promoting IKEA home furnishing competence to the widest possible consumer market

    To establish the IKEA Brand as the preferred choice in home furnishing products and solutions that create a better everyday life for the many people, thereby reaching the IKEA business objectives. This shall occur by stimulating home furnishing interest in each local market, securing a strong brand and competitive position in each local market, and driving traffic to the IKEA store and IKEA website by attracting new and more visitors to visit more often, and throughout their life stages.
