Manager – AI & Digital Solutions

Background

MTR Corporation is expanding its AI Centre of Excellence (AI CoE) to accelerate and scale the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI), including Generative AI, across the Corporation. The AI CoE brings together AI governance, engineering and platform capabilities, solution development and delivery expertise to enable business teams to turn AI opportunities into measurable business value. We are looking for passionate professionals to join our growing team and help shape how MTR adopts AI responsibly, securely and at scale.

Responsibilities

• Work with business and technology stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases and translate business workflows into technical requirements and delivery roadmaps
• Design, develop, and implement enterprise AI solutions, including GenAI applications, AI agents, RAG solutions, APIs, data pipelines, and system integrations
• Establish enterprise AI engineering capabilities, including reusable frameworks, operational guardrails, and best practices for AI and Agentic AI solutions
• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI solutions from prototype to production applying modern engineering, DevSecOps, automation, and operational best practices
• Establish AI evaluation and quality assurance practices to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing AI solutions
• Evaluate, prototype, and integrate emerging AI technologies and platforms to accelerate enterprise AI adoption and innovation
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, troubleshooting, solution assurance, and mentoring of engineering teams
• Identify emerging AI technologies and translate them into practical enterprise capabilities to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence / Data Science / Engineering / Information Technology or a related discipline
• A minimum of 8 years' relevant hands-on software development, AI application engineering or technical delivery experience, including substantial experience coding and implementing AI solutions, of which 2 years should be at management level
• Possession of a professional certification in a related discipline is preferred
• Proven hands-on experience in at least two areas below:
  • AI Software Engineering
  • Full-stack and Platform Engineering
  • AI-enabled Application Development and Automation
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills with proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
