Enterprise Sales - Index Sales Relationship Manager (Asset-Owners, Insurance, Sell-side, & Wealth) - Greater China

• Minimum 5-10 years of client facing experience in Financial Institutions such as Asset Owners, Investment Managers, Sell-side or Data providers ideally with Index solutions exposure.
• A good understanding of cross-border fund regulations, and regulatory frameworks in China
• An astute commercial mindset, working to exceed sales metrics and demonstrated ability to build pipelines and close new business opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills to be able to credibly lead senior level client conversations
• Business fluent in Mandarin and English required, Cantonese an advantage

• A passion for advocating for indexed solutions across all segments of the financial community.
• Ability to creatively market our product to a vast demographic of potential clients
• Bachelor's degree or degree-equivalent qualifications, CFA/FRM/CAIA designation is an advantage
• Existing senior relationships with Asset Owners, Securities firms, Banks, Regulators and industry associations

• Build senior level relationships with strategic institutional investors.
• Achieve annual sales and revenue targets across the index solutions product suite
• Utilize your market experience, knowledge of industry trends, and technical skillset throughout the sales process from developing awareness to commercial and contract execution
• Conduct in-depth discussions regarding Bloomberg index methodology and new product requirements
• Produce clear, concise proposals with an appropriate level of detail that identifies client needs, current workflows, proposed solutions, and commercials
• Take a lead role in conducting internal and external training sessions and sales pitches
• Collaborate extensively with different internal teams to cross-sell our suite of solutions

Index Sales Specialists at Bloomberg are responsible for new business development in addition to maintaining existing client relationships for Bloomberg Index solutions. As Greater China Index Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for positioning, demonstrating and licensing Bloomberg's fixed income, equity, and multi-asset class index solutions primarily to new prospective customers across financial institutions in the territory, including Asset owners, Insurance companies, Investment Banks and Wealth managers.

This is a highly visible role within the organization with a strong focus on winning new customers and markets with involvement in shaping strategy, senior level relationship management, and in-depth discussions regarding Bloomberg index methodology and product development.

You will be responsible for all aspects of Indices related engagements, including data subscriptions, customization, and asset-based licensing. The role requires close collaboration, and strong communication with global sales, client services and support teams, research, marketing, and product management to deliver optimal solutions to our customers in the region. You will be joining a highly experienced, motivated and fast-growing Index Relationship Management team across Asia Pacific that sits within Global Financial Product Sales.

The position is based in Hong Kong, with a local client base across Greater China.
