The role
Business Function
Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.
What you'll do
1. Acquire credit card or other banking business proactively to achieve sales target through the following locations:
- Pre-selected Corporation's office by Product & Marketing or Management referrals.
- Bank branches
2. Assist customers in completing credit card application via Card + Channel / designated devices and advise customer to provide required documents
3. Explain credit card features or other banking products/services to potential customers
4. Deliver excellent customer service
5. Ensure efficient end-to-end application process
6. Conduct sales activities in compliance with internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements
How you'll work
Regular
Requirements
- High school graduate (HKCEE/HKDSE) or equivalent
- Minimum one year of experience in banking or financial institutions, with sales or customer service experience preferred
- Proactive, persistent, and possess strong sales acumen
- Customer-centric with excellent communication skills
- Good awareness of compliance and company guidelines
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
- Professional Banker qualification from the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers is preferred
