Candidates with extensive experience but lower qualification will also be considered

Required to perform shift duties on irregular pattern of hours

The role

Responsibilities

Supervise, coordinate and lead a team to conduct the scheduled overhaul and unscheduled repair maintenance activities of electric multiple unit (EMU) bogie & suspension systems, brake & pneumatic systems and pantograph systems in accordance with maintenance standards and procedures in a safe and efficient manner
Act as an overall in-charge of the maintenance team to plan and organise day-to-day maintenance activities, implement rolling stock equipment modification and test/trial, supervise contractor's works and ensure availability of spares, tools and equipment for the maintenance tasks
Determine corrective actions for component defects or faults identified during overhaul maintenance and provide recommendations to facilitate decision making
Support failure investigation and provide solutions to improve safety, reliability and performance of the responsible EMU systems
