Associate Animal Care Specialist

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Supervisor, the incumbent will perform daily operation in Zoological Operations Waterfront facilities such as animal husbandry and routine operation.

Requirements

• Form 5 / DSE or above with Biology background • With at least 3 year or above experience in animal field, knowledge in animal health, husbandry and training techniques • Awareness of the animals presentation concept and design; basic procedural knowledge of area administrative material • Good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua • Willing to work on shifts and outdoors during weekends and public holidays, and inclement weather if necessary • Independent, mature with analytical thinking, problem solving • Possession of valid driving licence Class 1& 2 preferred Candidates with less experience will be considered as Animal Care Officer or Contract Animal Care Trainee.
