System Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all incorporated technology platforms are delivered, deployed, and maintained in strict alignment with project requirements and the overarching technical strategy
• Provide first-line and second-line technical support for server environments. Diagnose and resolve issues stemming from environmental factors (power/cooling), hardware failures, and system software problems
• Perform both physical (rack/stack/cabling) and technical (configuration/troubleshooting) tasks within the data center environment
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation throughout the implementation lifecycle, including but not limited to Technical Specifications, Testing Scripts, and Training Materials

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience setting up dashboards and configuring alerts within monitoring software (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios, Datadog, or SolarWinds)
• Familiarity with leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot) to enhance operational efficiency, scripting, or troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge of SQL (queries/database management), Linux commands (administration/shell scripting), and Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Detail-minded, logical, responsible, well-organized, and a strong team player with a proactive attitude
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues in simple, business-friendly language
• Proficient in Chinese (Cantonese) and English
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for an Assistant role
