The role
Responsibilities
- As a trusted Business Partner, work closely with the business units to formulate manpower plans and HR strategies in line with business needs;
- Assist in the formulation of HR initiatives and plans, as well as HR policies, procedures and systems in support of business change / growth;
- Provide advice to line managers in employee performance management and assist in the handling of related issues in a tactful manner;
- Handle staff disciplinary cases and employee relations issues;
- Produce statistical reports through analysing HR metrics and trends to enable early detection of manpower issues and contribute to employee retention;
- Provide support for ad hoc projects as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field;
- At least 5 years' relevant experience, preferably in construction / engineering industry;
- Well versed in labour legislation in Hong Kong;
- Strong interpersonal skill, with a high level of sensitivity and the ability to interact with all levels of employees;
- The ability to work with data and produce insightful reports / presentations;
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese;
- Immediate available is preferred.
