Senior Multimedia Designer/ Senior Illustrator (IP)

Responsibilities

(Long Term Contact)

• Lead visual development for new and current IP characters, KV, and multimedia assets.
• Create and maintain IP style guides, character systems, and design rules.
• Design KV, motion graphics, digital content, and environmental graphics.
• Develop 2D/3D decorative items and production-ready design files.
• Support licensed product design with high-fidelity, IP-aligned artwork.
• Review and govern design quality across internal teams, vendors and licensees
• Manage multiple creative timelines.
• Stay updated on market trends, consumer preferences, and industry best practices in branding, character IP and licensing.
• Illustrators with strong character development skills and experience will also be considered.

Requirements

• Degree in Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, Animation, or related field.
• 3+ years of character design or IP development.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), multimedia assets creation;
• Ability to prepare production-ready files for print, digital, and manufacturing.
• Familiarity with, or strong interest in exploring, Al creative tools such as GPT-4o, Magnific, image-generation, video-generation, and Al retouching tools.
• Demonstrated ability to develop character systems, expressions, poses, and consistent visual language across multiple formats.
• Skilled in maintaining strict IP rules, proportions, and brand guidelines across all outputs.
• Project management skills with attention to detail.
• Able to handle fast-paced timelines, evolving deliverables, and high-volume creative output with strong ownership.
• Good communication skills in both Chinese & English.
