Assistant Restaurant Manager

Responsibilities

Oversee daily shifts by opening and closing the restaurant, managing flow and ensuring smooth service
Scheduling, training, coaching, monitoring performance and resolving conflicts
Maintaining positive customer relationships, processing complaints, and responding to customer needs
Assisting with budgeting, tracking sales and managing cash
Managing stock, placing orders and ensuring proper storage
Ensure compliance with ISO22000, health and safety regulations regarding food storage and handling

Requirements

High diploma or above with a certificate in Hospitality Management would be an advantage
Previous supervisory or management experience in a restaurant setting
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
Knowledge of POS system and restaurant software
Ability to handle high-stress situations and work flexible hours (nights, weekends and public holidays)
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Putonghua speaking is preferable
Computer literacy in MS Office and Chinese word processing
