Manager, Transport Sales & Partnerships

Job Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Manager, Transport Sales and Partnership in identifying and materializing business opportunities on various transportation segments to realize continuous business growth for the company
• Engage with Major Transport Operators and other business partners through business collaboration and partnerships to maintain close cooperation and develop new business opportunities
• Participating in execution of projects assigned from time to time
• Tapping into new segments to increase Octopus' penetration in both transportation-related payment business, with an aim to improve usage and market share of Octopus
• Develop and optimize deal strategies and frameworks through effective negotiation, partnership and different forms of collaborations.
• Preparing presentations, sales pitch, and qualitative business reports, and executing business development plan
• Leading, driving and coordinating internal resources to provide commercial and technical solutions to serve customer needs
• Monitor and manage service partners' performance by identifying key performance drivers and proposing actionable tactics to achieve and exceed targets
• Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or related subjects, preferably in Business Administration or Sales & Marketing
• At least 8 years' experience in sales and business development, preferably in transportation industry
• Have solid knowhow and business relationship in transportation industry
• Strong analytical and presentation skills with ability to combine business, strategy, finance and legal concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted deals
• Strong business acumen with strategic and analytical mind
• Strong interpersonal skills; a good team player who can work seamlessly with customers, partners and cross functional teams within the company
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese
• Proficient in MS Office applications
