Kitchen Chef Internship

We are pleased to offer an internship opportunity that will enable you to develop valuable hands-on industry experience while working closely with our operational team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day Food & Beverage kitchen operations within one of our outlets, including Pastry, Chesa & Private Dining, Felix, Spring Moon, The Lobby, or The Verandah. This placement will run for a minimum duration of six months.

Key Accountabilities

One opportunity in one of the kitchens or rotation may apply among: Chesa & Private Dining, Felix, Pastry, Spring Moon*, The Lobby, The Verandah

Prepare food in line with training received, following recipes and instructions.
Ensure quality of all food production according to recipes.
Ensure proper handling, storage and usage of raw and cooked materials.
Minimize and utilize all waste products.
Adhere to hygiene schedules, cleaning schedules and the Hotel's guidelines.
Follow all relevant health and safety codes as stipulated by the Hotel and the local health authorities (FEHD).

General Requirements

The Peninsula Hong Kong is open to international applicants for the internship opportunities
Fluent in spoken and written English (*Chinese proficiency required for Spring Moon)
Pleasant, courteous, and fun personality
Passionate about culinary arts and luxury hospitality
