The role

Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Automotive Engineering;
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience, experience in Automotive / Truck / Coach / Bus industry is preferred;
  • Completed the 2-year training program registered under Scheme A of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers is an advantage (Mechanical Division);
  • An independent and self-motivated team player;
  • Able to work independently under pressure;
  • Good communication skills and fluent in English and Mandarin; and
  • Candidate with extensive experience shall be considered as Engineer.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate among maintenance workshops to identify and report any maintenance and service issues encountered during daily operation of vehicles;
  • Perform data analysis and recommend improvements to enhance safety, roadworthiness and continuous operational excellence of the bus fleet;
  • Liaise with manufacturers/engineering team for warranty issues and identify the root causes of the engineering problems with recommendation or corrective measures;
  • Act as the project engineer in bus enhancement projects, including work closely with different external and internal parties to ensure the project is timely implemented and achieved the target objective; and
  • Monitor and control maintenance activities to the compliance with Quality Management System and Safety Management System.
