The role

Requirements:
  • University Degree in Mechanical /Electrical /Automotive Engineering　or equivalent;
  • Member of HKIE or IMechE or equivalent is required;
  • 6 years post training experience;
  • Strong problem-solving skill and fault diagnosis skills;
  • Strong leadership and people management skills; and
  • Possesses an analytical mindset to perform statistical analysis
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control bus maintenance and repair activities to provide adequate number of buses to Operations for daily bus services;
  • Ensure bus maintenance and repair are done in an efficient and effective manner;
  • Identify, document and report on systematic problems found in bus performance, maintenance, operation and safety;
  • Recommend and implement measures in reducing bus maintenance costs for improvement of bus reliability;
  • Implement instructions, modification campaigns or trials issued by Engineering Office;
  • Monitor and control administration matters including workshop supervision, discipline, promotion and resources planning;
  • Ensure company's safety policy, rules, governing safety legislation and safety management system (ISO45001) are implemented and maintained at the workspace;
  • Monitor and control maintenance activities to comply with the quality management system (ISO9001), the environment management system (ISO14001) and relevant statutory requirements; and
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
