The role

Requirements:
  • University graduate in business or related field;
  • Professional qualification in transport or logistics is preferred;
  • At least 8 years of relevant management experience in listed / sizable organization, preferably in the public transport industry;
  • Good knowledge in bus industry;
  • Strong leadership with excellent communication and influencing skills;
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills; and
  • Possession of valid Hong Kong driving license will be an advantage
Responsibilities:
  • Manage operations of responsible depot, bus termini / interchanges and bus fleet;
  • Lead Operations team and facilitate all operational issues under the responsible depot;
  • Deliver all operations performance results covering daily operations deployment, profitability, compliance, safety, staff management and customer service targets;
  • Execute strategy and achieve objectives for depot operations by smart utilization of resources to ensure high quality in performance;
  • Monitor and review the implementation of performance improvement initiatives;
  • Coordinate various depot functions and cross-depot issues to ensure allocation of adequate resources;
  • Maintain a smooth and constructive communication with stakeholders, including Transport Department and District Councils to enhance their understanding of the Operations activities and collect their opinions and make recommendations for revising the Company's strategies as appropriate;
  • Execute contingent plans for special festivals and events; and
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
