Engineering Office Manager

Bachelor in Mechanical/Electrical/Automotive Engineering or equivalent

Chartered Engineer of HKIE, IMechE, or equivalent

Minimum 10 years related experience within the vehicle / equipment repair and maintenance industry or fleet management of which 5 years at supervisory level, applicants with less experience would be considered for Engineer

Self-motivated, innovative, independent and ability to work effectively under tight deadline

Competence in crisis management and problem-solving

Fluent in written or spoken English and Cantonese

Lead the Engineering Office in introducing latest technology to enhance customer experience and bus safety

Mentor and develop less-experienced engineers in the department

Responsible for technical projects execution and completion within the agreed time frame

Ensure the safety, roadworthiness and continuous operational excellence of the bus fleet, by but not limited to managing the bus performance through maintenance programs, repair standards & procedures, implementing bus improvement & modifications through close liaison with bus manufacturers, regulatory bodies and internal departments

Provides technical advice and support for new bus acquisition

Responds to media, government and the public on bus-engineering and maintenance related matters
