What we're looking for

  • University graduate, preferably in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline;
  • Professional qualification such as CPA is required;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably from big 4 and with some commercial experience, applicants with less experience shall be considered as Accountant;
  • Knowledge in HKFRS, Companies Ordinance and HKEX Listing Rules;
  • Strong Excel skills for financial analysis, knowledge of financial ratios, key performance indicators, and reporting techniques;
  • Good understanding of SAP will be advantageous;
  • A good team player, responsible, willing to learn and detail-oriented; and
  • Able to work under tight deadlines and pressure.

The role

What you'll do

  • Assist in supervising month-end close routines and review consolidation schedules across business units for interim and annual financial reporting;
  • Support the preparation of monthly management reports, half-yearly / annual results packages, and variance analyses for senior management and Audit Committee review;
  • Assist in drafting annual / interim reports, circulars and HKEX regulatory disclosures in compliance with HKFRS and Listing Rules;
  • Support the review and enforcement of internal financial policies, accounting SOPs and internal control documentation across operations.
  • Coordinate requests and fieldwork with external / internal auditors;
  • Assist in preparing corporate tax computations and statutory returns; and
  • Undertake special financial projects, system enhancement support (SAP) and ad-hoc assignments as requested by department heads.
